The British Council would like to use the information you provide to send details of activities, services and events (including social events) which we think are of interest to you based on your responses to this form. We will use your personal data and contact details to send you information about free IELTS preparation material, future tests and answer any specific requests you have. We may also invite you to take part in surveys to help improve our services to customers.

British Council will use the email address that you provided to us to seek for new customers (lookalike audience) that share the same interests and demographic profiles with you on the following platforms:

We shall pass this information on to our appointed media agency and then to Facebook and/or Google for the lookalike user matching and marketing.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold on you, and the right to ask us to correct any inaccuracies in that information. If you have concerns about how we have used your personal information, you also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator.
