From 1 March, the IELTS Test Partners* no longer offer IELTS via the Paper format in Malaysia. Test takers can still take the most widely recognised high stakes English Language test on Computer. IELTS on Computer offers results within 3-5 days and is available throughout the week, offering test-takers great availability.
*The IELTS test is jointly owned by British Council, IELTS Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 84 008 664 766), which is wholly owned by IDP Education Ltd (‘IDP: IELTS Australia’) and Cambridge Assessment English (part of the University of Cambridge), collectively referred to as the IELTS Test Partners or IELTS Partner.

What is new about IELTS on computer?
- Faster results – your IELTS results will be available 3 to 5* days after the test
*Results for IELTS on computer are usually available in 3 to 5 days after you finish all components of your test. Please note that if the result release day falls on a Sunday or a public holiday, the test report form (TRF) will be distributed on the next working day.
- More test sessions – test sessions available throughout the week
- More Speaking test timeslots - speaking timeslots available on the same day
- Last-minute test registration – registration will only close 3 days before the test date, subject to seats availability
- Marking – Reading and Listening sections will be auto-marked by computers while the Speaking test will remain to be graded by a trained IELTS examiner
- Listening test - headphones will be provided
