(East Asia) 2019/20

The British Council IELTS Prize (East Asia)* is awarded to high-calibre individuals with the motivation to develop their career, by pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any chosen discipline at a higher education institution that accepts IELTS as part of its admission requirements around the world.

 

This year, applicants stand a chance to win either a Regional Prize or a Local Prize.

* Eligible countries/territories include: Hong Kong & Macau, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

# Actual amount depends on the relevant university’s first-year tuition fee.

Regional Prizes

  • Grand Prize£ 40,000#up to

  • 3rd Prize£ 8,000

Local Prizes

  • 1st Prize£ 6,000

  • 2nd Prize£ 5,000
