(East Asia) 2022

The British Council IELTS Prize (East Asia)* is awarded to high-calibre individuals with the motivation to develop their career, by pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any chosen discipline at a higher education institution that accepts IELTS as part of its admission requirements around the world.

This year, applicants stand a chance to win a Local Prize.

* Eligible countries/territories include: Hong Kong & Macau, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

**The final prize amount will be awarded in local currency. All prizes are subject to local taxes in some countries.

  • 1st Prize£ 5,000

  • 2nd Prize£ 2,000

  • 3rd Prize£ 1,000
